How Long Does The Process Of Applying LINE-X Take?
No one likes to be without their vehicle. It gives them freedom and the ability to get anything from work to the mundane household chores done. You probably don’t like to leave your vehicle at the garage to get serviced and you may be hesitant to drop your truck off to have a bedliner added to it and then not being able to use it for a week while it cures. At LINE-X of South Central Pennsylvania we are here to tell you that your fears are misplaced.
If You Have A Truck You Need A Bedliner!
No matter what you do, you should protect your truck’s bed with a bedliner. Many people choose to utilize a drop-in bedliner because it is easy to install and can be used immediately. That works well for people who cannot be without their truck but a spray-in bedliner from LINE-X offers superior protection and can used that same day.
LINE-X Takes How Long?
The truck will need to be dropped off at a authorized LINE-X dealer like LINE-X of South Central Pennsylvania. A certified LINE-X technician will prepare your truck and will apply the bedliner. The bedliner will dry in about 3 to 5 seconds and in general the whole process takes about 3 hours to complete with an extra hour or two for a custom color liners (not available from LINE-X of South Central Pennsylvania, sorry) and upgrades like UV protection. Your truck will be ready for light duty hauling that day and heavy duty hauling when it cures completely after 24 hours.
How Does LINE-X Stack Up?
Your truck will be ready to go to the grocery store or to the hardware store for light duty hauling as soon as it leaves us at LINE-X of South Central Pennsylvania and you will be taking the superior protection that LINE-X offers with you for as long as you own your truck. A drop-in bedliner may be quicker and less expensive to install but it does not offer the same protection as LINE-X. A DIY bedliner may be less expensive and may advertise that it takes less time to install but then prep time is not included in that time. It takes longer to dry (some with an extra coat needed after it dries) and it takes the same amount of time to fully cure if not longer.
Having your truck down for a day to give it a lifetime of protection is worth it, don’t you think? Considering that alternatives present no clear advantage in time used or protection why not go with the best? Go with LINE-X!
