How Strong Is LINE-X?
Dropping destructible things from a height can make for a mess. Some objects shatter into thousands of tiny pieces while others crack open leaking out their liquid contents all over the surface. That means it’s time to get out the broom and dustpan or the mop to clean it up. Not something the average person wants to do. What if there were a way to make these objects almost indestructible and minimize cleanup time?
On Fox And Friends
LINE-X President Dennis Weese appeared on Fox and Friends in 2016 to demonstrate how his product can make almost anything nearly indestructible. A polyurethane and polyurea are combined creating a spray that is virtually invincible Weese explained. And this statement was put to the test on live national television.
LINE-X Putting Its Money Where Its Mouth Is
The first test involved dropping objects from the top of an eight foot step ladder. Co-host Brian Kilmeade dropped a regular cantaloupe that cracked open splattering some of its contents on the pavement while a treated cantaloupe bounced up like a basketball. The same thing happened with an egg and a clay shooting pigeon.
Fellow co-host Steve Doocy then demonstrated LINE-X’s strength by failing to crush a coated red solo cup seconds after easily crushing an untreated one. Doocy was able to stand on top of the cup and even hurt himself trying to crush it.
Military Use
Weese told Fox and Friends that LINE-X’s main product is spray on bedliners (you know that!) but has expanded in recent years for military use. LINE-X is sprayed on ballistic plates which can help fragmentation if a round hits the plate. It also is used to insulate ballistic fabrics and placed on military vehicles and aircraft to help shield them and their occupants from a bomb blast. It’s a strong product that is helping to keep our men and women in uniform safe.
LINE-X Not Breaking
In a final demonstration co-host Ainsley Earhardt drove a jeep overtop of several items. Some were coated in LINE-X and some were not. A clay pigeon and light bulb survived intact while an egg blew out (but the shell was not smashed). Oh, did we mention that LINE-X Ultra was used to coat the jeep and Doocy was unable to key the jeep and do any visible damage.
This is how strong LINE-X is and that is pretty darn strong. You too can have this strength with your truck as well. If you have a truck that needs a bedliner or if your bedliner is just not getting the job done give LINE-X of South Central Pennsylvania a call!
